U/D pulleys will give you around 10hp. if you wait till my supercharger arrives and gets installed, i'll be selling mine. that can save you a little more money to save up for those gears. it'll be next week or the beginning of the next.

That's the plan. The only thing that sucks is I have a dentist apointment in the morning. Hopefully all the numbing sh1t wears off quick so I don't look like a retard drooling on myself.
Big difference? No. You'll maybe notice a small difference...I see them a lot used for $100 or so, sometimes less. If you really want to pick some up I'd get them as cheap as possible and save for those gears. Now those will make a big difference!
Do the UD pulleys change the feel of the car? Ive heard it revs much easier but ive also heard of people swapping back to stock and saying it felt much smoother
UDP's are good for about 4-8 RWHP. Typically, SOTP senisitivity on the average butt is around 5-10 RWHP for engines with our crank HP. You won't feel a BIG difference. But every nickle's worth adds up.

I did an empirical round up of a few mods once.
tune is the most cost effective.
next is switching from 3.31 gears (many mustangs's have 3.55 stock) to 4.1
next was an underdrive pulley and electric water pump.
next was an intake
next was 3.31 to 3.73
Gears don't give you power they just move you up the rpm range to a higher horsepower level while having to shift more often. The net gain can be calculated in a relative horsepower gain over time subtracted with the amount of time without power due to shifting more often essentially doing a power versus time calculation.
The problem with gears is to see gains from them you have to be a master at shifting otherwise it will just give you more power while you're on the gas but you'll move slower due to sucking at driving a manual and having to shift more.

Tip of the Month, October: Do not buy the $730 Roush Exhaust which a Mangnaflow rep says costs to $117 make (polished, all ss), buy the $170 Roush Exhaust Tips estimated to cost $46 to make and weld them to another company's muffler. This also lets you choose how your car sounds.
