Boozhey, how much did that cost? if you don't mind me asking....Actually, kind of asking everyone, what's the normal cost to get this done? (quality work)
$25 bucks and some time... I did it in the garage and did 2 other sets for other members. I called a local powder coater and they wanted $50. I would go that route if I did it again...

That's the plan. The only thing that sucks is I have a dentist apointment in the morning. Hopefully all the numbing sh1t wears off quick so I don't look like a retard drooling on myself.
I wanted to maintain a stealthy engine bay, so picked up a set that was powder coated black from here in the classifieds. I may do something custom with my original set down the road, but very satisfied how things look now. Just realized things are a bit dirty... think it is time for a wash this weekend!

Aside from the powdercoated black ones, this all seems rather....ricey.
as opposed to looking mean as hell when they come like that directly from ford???

No ricey would be if you painted them neon green, then got 10 miles of wire loom in the same neon green and covered every last inch of wire anywhere in sight.
Almost every show car at a car show has either painted or chrome covers, from 69' Chevelle 454's to 1970 Dodge Hemi Cuda's, and etc.
Oh and I'm going with a red set when I get my Saleen installed so I guess I'm biased.
