mine did that @ first, but I was able to loosen the screws near the throttle body and raise the end of the filter(the whole intake) just enough to make it quit,
but the little piece of rubber looks like it did the trick.
my C&l filter was rubbing too, but being plastic I didn't notice.
what do you think of the filter? its nice adding some shiny stuff to the engine bay.
Hey there Eagle..., After TB install, what was your idle doing and what did you do to correct it ?? Thanks
Glad to get back on topic! It was surging on clutch in is the best I can explain, instead of just going down to idle it would drop, then surge back up, then level off. I just dropped it off at the dyno and all my troubles went away the car is actually a lot more driveable than it was before because of some things getting worked out in my tune!

Thanks Eagle, you explained it very well for me.... Yah, mine was doing exactly the same thing when coming to a stop with clutch in, it would dip down to about 400 rpm's and then level out to my normal idle of 850 rpm's when stopped. They added a little more air (Idle Air Control valve) and it improved greatly aswell. While not perfect, because of lower vacuum with cams, it's much better and liveable. Thanks again !!
