I have the FRPP/Hurst shifter in my '10, PN M7210-GTA. It is a bit pricy at $325.00 but, at the time of ordering it was the only one available for the '10. It looks like a stock shifter on steroids and the bushings are poly insstead of mushy rubber. Performance wise it resembles all of the Hurst shifters...some choose to call it "notchy" but, I like to think of it as "positive gear engagement feedback". You can expect a bit more gear noise from the Tansmission...not a bother for me though, I like that noise! It was a little stiff after installation but, after massaging it for a week or so, it has become a pleasure to use.The ball fits my hand perfectly, doesn't get screaming hot like the metal one (I have the 1-5 shift pattern branded on my right palm) and the lever height is perfect as well; throw is reduced by about 40%.
The Billet/Plus uses a machined base/body and arm, rather than the stamped base, and rod arm on the Competition/Plus. It also has adjustable shift stops. I'm fairly certain the internals are the same, however, giving you the exact same throw as the Comp/Plus as it shares the same handle, ball, and stalk. Here's a picture...
I found this article, which has some good close up photos of the various aftermarket shifters available, I feel like the "which shifter is best" threads have been beaten to death, I simply submit that there are design differences between the various aftermarket shifters and IMO, the Hurst line, besides being made in China, look too similar to the stocker to be an "upgrade".
Anyways, I'm not trying to be controversial, just thought I would provide the link and some photos to corroborate my point of view.
