Default wrecked the gt

been about 2 weeks so blah.. its in the process of getting fixed.. frame is straight as a pin.. Body shop said it will take some time but it can be fixed.. have to wait and see.. I walked away from it.. No problems, just sore the next couple days.. No one was involved besides me and the lightpole.. Thats a plus..

Wow, surprised its still straight, looks like it hit hard. Good to hear you are ok though. Looks like everything got shook up real good.

Hopefully the cops didn't come out, they always give out a ticket for something like that.

actually no ticket at all to my surprise..

I was coming around a curve and it kicked out one way, i got it straight then it kicked out the other way.. went passanger side into a lightpole.. Caney Fork has a hold area around that curve where they store lightpoles.. They stated that i probally hit some oil where the poles are brought in.. It had rained.. I wasn't playing with the car, wasn't playing with the phone, actually wasn't even doing speedlimit.. If i was showing out, i would understand why i wrecked it.. Front end hit the guide wire, and that threw me harder into the lightpole.. Door absorbed most the impact..

it was wild.. i watched me hit the lightpole, the glass shatter at the door, then i hit so hard it threw my hat and glasses out the passenger side window.. but i got lucky.. NO one else was involved.. I'm really thankful for that..

Body shop put it on the rack and said i got lucky.. Straight and everything can be fixed.. I told them if the frame was warpped, total it out.. but after i seen what the insurance was gonna give me, i would have lost my butt.. so yeah, i'm happy to get it fixed.. miss it, lol..

Glad that your ok, I can even see the crease where you hit the guy-wire.
How long did they estimate for repairs?

That roof line will need special attention...
This has to be a precis repair for your door window to seal properly later on.
How's your floor board/inner rocker on that side?

I'll tell you, those cars are tough. Glad you're unhurt.

I know how you feel. My 2000 in the shop right now getting new quarters and rear axle.
Similar accident, going around corner and just touched wet grass but I just sideswiped the pole though. Good luck on the repairs.
