I bought my Stang to have fun. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't have bought it if I couldn't get manual. Not that an auto isn't fun.

The only time I shift that low is (like you) in traffic and when I need gas .

Mine is very inconsistent also. Sometimes shifts smooth as butter and the next day it will clunk a little (like I let the clutch out too quick). Does everyone have a bama tune? I dont think it did that to me before I put the tune on.

My 07 clutch and shifting worked fine along with my 09. My 09 did respond much better to the Brendspeed tune and feels a lot stronger than the 07. Brendspeed said the 09s have a different engine management computer.

Brilliant Silver/Black, 5 speed manual, 3:55 gears, 18" wheels, Microsoft Sync and 93 octane tune configuration from Brenspeed. All original chalk car. Past Mustang owned, Black 07 GT Premiun, 5 speed manual.

Patiently waiting for Ford to design my next Mustang! Let’s get with it Ford!
