I was wondering if anyone has ever tried out Summit's ceramic brake pads. They are fairly cheap and usually summit stuff is pretty good and their warranty is good.
A large portion of Summit Racings branded gear is made by mr gasket and their affiliated brands. Dig around and see who yo find akes brakes for mr gasket and chances are, thats who makes these. I've never had a proble with Summit's branded gear on any car I have put the on.

I've never put brakes on my Stang yet so I couldn't say. Nor have I used any Summit Racing brakes on my other vehicles. But on a side note, I HAVE used Performance Friction pads on my SUV's and they were definately better than the OE pads. And they were available at Autozone. I'm sure you'll get a good bit of feedback on the SR pads.
Just a thought on turning rotors. From what I have heard, you're better off replacing the rotors rather than turning them. The experts I've heard say rotors today are so thin, if you do turn them, chances are they will warp rather quickly. They just don't have the "beef" they used to. Everything else is being made cheaper, so I can believe it about rotors.
Anybody else have any feedback?
