Bit of confusion in this thread, let me try and clear it up

I've tried this one: My Keyless Slider
Its cheaply made klanky and feels like ****, however it works on my 2006.

This is the one I like Artiway Switchblade Key works but the remote doesn't, have been sent 1 replacement board and still no good. Seller is sending a "1st gen" board, I'll post if it works. This key is leapts and bounds over the quailtiy of the 1st one.

Anyone try this one?
MyKeyless Flip Key

Is it as jankey as the other mykeyless one?

Sounds like the way to go at this point if that can be confirmed.

So far I'm the only posting about it that has a 2005-6 mustang. I've read on other boards that owners of 2005-6 have problems as well but they got a 1st gen board and it fixed it.

2005-06 use different remotes then 2007-9 (thats why the fusion key won't work on 2005-6). Its not about disliking the product or taking someone's word its just that its not compatible with the the early mustangs.

Any other 2005-6 users have a working artiway key remote?

Just got the gen 1 board in and it works. Just doesn't light up now (lack the led). If you get the key and you have a 2005-6 ask for a gen 1 board.

that is good news

I bought a used Fusion key for my 2009 on eBay. got it for $6 shipped and then re-keyed it myself. so for about $15 (key + blank key + cutting) I have a nice OEM Fusion key that works awesome.

sucks about the 05/06 compatability issue. these keys are extremely nice
