Default C & L Intake Manifold ?

Has anyone here played around with the new C & L Intake manifold yet? If so how did it affect your power curve and what mod's have you already done to your car ?

I have an 08 with a Steeda CAI, Bassani Cat Back, 4.10, and a SCT live wire tuner. Just wondering what to expect from this future mod.

It was determined the gains don't make up for the cost. Do a search and you will find some info. I "heard" there was a casting problem so they were going to produce another model to see if the gains would approve. I hope it works out for C&L becuase they make top end stuff and it looks really good. I would like to remove my blower just to see what the turbo's could do on there own with this intake.

Yeaaa, I was excited about that thing until I saw the results. I'd have one if it performed like it was touted.

Intake manifolds dont benefit on cars that arent heavily modded, just like headers. If you have full exhaust, headers, cams, gears, pulleys, and a water pump, and especially nitrous on top of it, then the manifold will greatly increase power. If you have an intake, and exhaust, then dont bother, such a rip off.

Still thinking about trying one once the design is finalized. I'll post results if I do go through with it.

That would be great S281 E. I saw many results over on modular forums with the pre-production models. Everything from mild to wild. I seem to remember some of the guys with turbo setups picked up maybe 50whp and the wilder n/a setups heads/cams/full exhaust maybe 5-10. Not enough for me to spend the $800 or whatever they were asking.

Since you're the "designated decoy" you can pick one up and let us know how it works out . j/k. I love that designated decoy joke. It was forwarded to me by one of my cajun friends back in LA saying how smart cajuns were because they used a designated decoy at the bar lol.
