Question Oh Crap Could I Have Messed Up My Car?

Got home from buying my cleanging products.
Parked the car really fast to enter the code to the garage door.

Did that and noticed my car was going backwards.
It was not going fast. Just CREEPING.
The car was not all the way in gear and was in third gear.
It probably rolled back for a good 15 seconds or more because my back was away from it and it was moving so slow I did not notice.

I got in the door and put it all the way in for it to stop but I noticed that when I sat down there was a clicking noise from the car being partially in gear and partially not.

I then started the car and drove it down the block a couple of times.
I went through all gears and noticed nothing funny at all.
Could I have still done something to the car though?

Do I need to worry?
Thanks

yup exactly lol.
I got out really fast and thought I put it in first but I actually had in PARTIALLY in 3rd and it was rolling back. (kinda half way in third and halfway in nuetral)
Got in.... it was making a clicking noise as it was moving back, I put it all the way in gear and it stopped.

Started the car, went for a drive through all gears.
Nothing weard happened but still was worried.

Yes, poo does happen from time to time. Sometimes you're the poo-er, sometimes the poo-ee. Life is like that.

It was probably just kissing the gears.
