Default Are these FRPP HOT ROD CAMS?

Long story short, bought a used whipple kit from a lady selling for her son. Included in the box with the supercharger was a box labeled with the part number that belongs to the hot rod cams. But the cams are used so i am thinking these are just the stock ones that the previous owner got back when they put the hot rods in. But i would like to double check. If anyone can help me with this it would be appreciated. I looked up the numbers online through google and nothing came up. They are as followed:

first cam has: RF-5L1E-6251-DA and 07924931494

second cam has: RF-5L1E-6C255-DA and 0800330413

hopefully i got lucky and snagged me some free hot rods

where are you getting the part #'s from?

if the box...well I wouldn't trust that.

you are probably going to have to use a Micrometer and measure the valve lobes...then contact Ford Tech and see if those match the stock measurements, or the the FRPP cams

no the part numbers above are from the actual cams printed on them. The part number on the box is M-6550-3V which is the hot rods numbers..... but yes i do not trust it. ill measure as a last resort if no one here knows for sure

Yeah good luck man =) would def be a lucky snag right there =) have em thrown on with the Supercharger =) may not add much power since they are not blower cams but they won't hurt it and it will sound sick =).

I would have to agree also after looking at these numbers:

XE-6251-309994 vs your number RF-5L1E-6251-DA
XE-6C255-309995 vs your number RF-5L1E-6C255-DA

Plus, I put your part number into a Ford part site and it did not come back with any matchs. The best thing to do is to call FRPP and ask them.

Wow I'm excited now lol. I'm gonna call ford when I get free later. I was actually contemplating cams or sc before this and chose sc because I heard the hot rods can make ur daily driving pretty rough at times in idle and stop lights. if these are the hot rods, I really wouldn't know what to do lol. I do want the sound though

interesting.....good point there MustangGtGuy.

all we know so far is that the hot rods and the
stock cams share a series of numbers. i guess
we won't know until a call is made to ford, or
someone else weighs in with some conclusive
evidence.
