I've heard 2000 for the full kit but I was wondering if anyone had a list of what each price needed costs. My plan is to keep an eye on eBay and craiglist and piece one together for >1000 but I'm wondering what is a good deal on parts which is hard to gauge
Dang! The blower and six speed would be a lot more than that.

Oh, I was thinking about conversion parts to make a GT500 and the engine, transmission, and running gear seemed like the place you would want to start. What could be more fun than a GT500 that looks like a stock GT!!!

a GT that's as fast as a GT500 and weighs less with better weight distribution. Seriously.

Tip of the Month, October: Do not buy the $730 Roush Exhaust which a Mangnaflow rep says costs to $117 make (polished, all ss), buy the $170 Roush Exhaust Tips estimated to cost $46 to make and weld them to another company's muffler. This also lets you choose how your car sounds.

Tousley is by far the cheapest dealer for Ford parts. Just look up a few from Mellow's list and you will see what I am talking about. Even with shipping, they cheaper than any place else when I need a Ford part...
I suppose I can compile a list of all the msrps tomorrow. I can't afford the kit right now but if I can see what all costs the most I can start looking fir good deals unless I change my mind
