that's an awesome deal, DAMN. it's a shame I wont be ready to buy till after the first of the year. I'm leaning more and more towards Livernois though. When the time comes, believe me I'm going to be all over the net for any deals too.

I'd prefer MMR or DSS personally and would lean towards DSS.

I don't think you can go wrong with either....

a brand new GT500 engine alone stickers for 15995...and that's without the tranny. So if you're getting it for much less than that then it's definately not new..or legal.

In the link, several things to notice. 1) this guy says he bought it from FRPP, which is the 15995...so he's taking a 5300 loss because he decided to "change direction." 2) he only has 6 posts and he has a 0% feedback, and 3) there is no tranny with it, only the clutch

Would you buy from ebay from a guy with no feedback or sales??

I have heard horror stories about MMR. Just do a search on google for MMR and you will see. I would recommend Livernois or JDM. All ive heard are good things from them.

Braver than I

I got screwed by a person with 2 ratings when I sold my Winch Bumper and 9,500 lb winch.

I refuse to deal with anybody under 50 ratings now. Kinda harsh, and probably cost me some $$$, but I'd rather have that safety cushion

It depends on how much the purchase from paypal is... I am careful with my money.

I would hope that before someone would dish out $11k that they made certain that it was legit. If they don't, well then they deserve to be ripped off for being a moron.

Also I said when I posted the link that it was without tranny. But you can still get them for that price with tranny. BBR has sold a few like that with tranny.

But wait, only because you brought up the post count, why should we take your advice anyways, you only have 9 posts.

Actually I HAD over 100... I had another account that was distant.soldier, but had to stop because I cancelled the email because it was getting over spammed. So I cannot recover the password. Not that the number of my posts matter in a case like this...I'm not trying to sell you anything.

Aside from that though...the facts are still legit. A person with no sales isn't going to have a high enough paypal rating to get full coverage on a 11K item. Also, most people purchase on Ebay without being able to check the item out prior...

And before I bought my GT500 I was looking into the 5.4L 4V supercharged mod motor (GT500) and I couldn't find anything close to that price for even just the motor. I have, however, found quite a many places that offer those "too good to be true" prices, and in fact they were. Which I would think is the same case for that guy... No one sells a 19K motor for 11K unless there are serious problems or its stolen...

but hey, think what you like.....with almost 3K posts you must know a lot, or at least throw your opinion in everything....like a post count matters in a place like this.
