Default Techco 302ci 3V

I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on a new engine build. I'm still doing some of the research on which set up I want to eventually go with. I've been looking at the most popular so far, including Livernois motorsports, Haney, MMR and the FRPP cast iron 5.0 short block. I was browsing through some of the sponsers and came across the Techco 302ci 3V motor. It's a complete motor, soup to nuts so I don't have to worry about any of the accessories switching over. In the description, Techco claims to be putting out 450 N/A. I can't seem to find to much information about the motor and was wondering if anyone might have an opinion or even first hand experience. Anything would be appreciated.

I'm not looking to go to radical as far as the build is concerned. Forged block w/ CNC ported heads, blower cams and a Whipple. I would like to get somewhere in the 550-600 range.

Not sure I would buy an engine from a company that is no longer in business.

Well, that solves that problem. Didn't know they were out of business. You might think a company that is no longer in business would take the site down.

So...this was finally confirmed? I thought they were taking a "temporary" break and laying off associates until they found a new place?

I clicked the link. Though it was built buy Techno, why the heck would you spend 11k on that thing. You do realize you can get an entire engine and tranny from a GT500 for that price....
