the basic kit is the same

JDM and Brenspeed then take that and add their own tunes and sometimes goodies to sweeten the deal

I've heard nothing but good things about JDM in the Lightning world. They are considered L masters. And they seem to specialize with the Saleen Blowers.

I think you are putting too much thought into this whole thing. A supercharger install is super easy. No matter which style you go with (Vortec or Saleen), you have to remove the upper intake at bare minimum.

From there, the Vortec has you remove the CMCV and re-intall with delete plates.

The Saleen replaces the entire setup completely with new upper intake.

Any shop who can install a Vortec blower can install the Saleen just as easily. Exact same principles.

And since Brenspeed is including Install Directions, and their own tuning...the biggest issue I think you'll have is finding a shop who can read English directions.

I think you should get the Blower you truly want...the Saleen. And then let that Vortec shop do the install.

Our Saleen shop car has yet to be beat on the street, monster torque off the line, which is what you want. IMO, I would choose Brenspeed, haha. But in reality, the blowers are the same, the difference is what is added to the kit. We add 39 lb injectors, intake, plugs, Boost a pump, and our very develped tuning. Plus you get the security of our customer service. Last year, I was installing 4-5 saleens a week, so if you do have any questions, you can always ask. At this point in time, I would choose the Saleen over any power adder because of the power and torque they produce plus the quality of the product.
