I am just trying to decide between the two for my next mod. Each seem to give the same amount of hp but the TB will lower my mpg and the Pulleys ruin my air conditioning. Or should I get some Delete plates? The video in my sig is what I have done so far.

Who says UDP's ruin your A/C? Not according to the forum members. Plus, UDP's are more of a sure couple of ponies compared to an aftermarket TB on a NA or non-modified-internally S197 4.6L. And aftermarket TB's have been known to be an install nightmare to an unacceptable (IMO) population of those that HAVE installed them.
i know i've got a new edge, and maybe i don't apply. but i have both, and honestly the UDP's where tougher, and the TB and plenum was a breeze. i got a great deal from ebay.

otherwise, run the U/D pulleys. the throttle body is a spurious gain and has lots of issues to get them tuned.
alternator wise, it will be spinning slightly slower than normal at idle. if it concerns you, use your tuner to bump idle up 100 RPM to offset the lower RPM
U/D pulleys WILL NOT HARM your alternator. the only effect will be a slightly lowered charge capacity while at IDLE only. it will operate as normal otherwise.
get gears instead. about $100-200 more overall, but you will see actual real world results, and the butt dyno will be very happy

I would do UDP's long before the TB. Gears are probably your best bet, but will cost more. I really like my Coast aluminum driveshaft, but again that is quite a bit more than UDP's or a TB.
If you race your car you would probably be best served getting some suspension mods over any of these.
