something I'm sure a few 2010 guys have noticed already is the HP/TQ gains from Tuning.
with a 05-09, you can pick up 20-30 RWHP with a CAI + Tuning.
with a Bullitt or a 2010, those gains are not nearly as significant. We are already benefiting from the better OEM tuning. So it's a little disheartening when you see maybe a 10 RWHP gain from custom tuning on these things.
I do wonder though what kind of gains a 2010 can get from putting on a traditional CAI + custom tuning

They do not use the same CAI as the bullitt. It still has an air box but looks slightly different than the 05-09. Maybe it has a bigger hole in it but I'm not 100%.
The real reason is because they added a TB spacer.

Sorry SirKnight, had to do it...LOL!!!

I doubt that it's much different from the FRPP cold air & tune. M-9603-B is claimed to add ~20 hp. My WAG - and it's only a guess - is that the fuel map is still a little 'fatter' up top than the FRPP for extended converter durability / emissions warranty purposes.
It's also possible that Ford doesn't want to get burned again with engines that don't make the claimed numbers, and understate them slightly. Again, just a guess, but not an unreasonable one.
And it gained only 15 crank HP? Lame... Speaks tons about the benefit of a good custom or dyno tune, then.
Generally a more agressive tune will also add additional stress on engine components. The 15 crank though pretty weak is their way of giving people more power while still playing it safe.
