Leatherseats.com makes really good aftermarket covers. My friend put some in his 300zx and man, they are some nice feeling leather. I was thinking of getting the red in the middle with black on the outsides. I was just wondering exactly how to put them on. I figure you just rip off the old ones and put the new ones on with hog rings and clips. Right?

There are no hog rings and clips in these seats. That's the easy old school seating. These are a royal pain in the arse to do. They don't just fit when you put them on and they don't slip on at all either. The creases and folds need to be done exact or they will not fit. They also have small, wide ribs of hook & loop that have to be positioned exactly in the creases. I did the back seat and cussed the whole time. I decided that the front seats and head rests needed some professional installation techniques, so I took them to an upholstry shop.
Follow the roush install guide and yes there is hog rings on the seats.
Wow, where were your hog rings at? On the front base only? I only did the rear tops and bottom and there were none, and I was at the upholstry shop when they did the front seat backs and there were none there either.
Your interior looks sweet as hell! Nice old school look.
