Definately looks great. This topic comes up from time to time and I can't stop saying what a load of crap it is that cars these days come with tires with no sidewall. Give me a set of 70 series tires with RWL's anytime over these rubber band 35 and 40 series tires. Congrats on the nice job.

Thanks man. Unfortunately, after some searching, I don't think there is a solid solution unless you can actually find and purchase a set of RWL tires that fit your rim.
I think if anything, it would have to be something I do/touchup every couple of weeks Mainly, I think the problem is the rubber constantly flexing while driving. It's going to chip and deform the paint used. Unless of course you garage it all the time, and it's a show car.
Thinking it's rubber based, it would flex. But I didn't read if it worked as well as they planned. It's almost $50 bucks for that, and I don't have the place or time to allow my tires to be off the car for over 24 hours for drying.
So we'll see what I end up doing. I would really have loved the RWL look for our Mustangs. Or hell, for most of the new Muscle cars at that.
Actually, I was just thinking, have any of you guys worked with Vinyl? Do you guys think it would be possible to get something working with maybe Vinyl Lettering to stick on over, maybe combined with proper prep, a really good adhesive, and possible sealant?
I was just running over ideas. I'd really like RWL but can't find a solution
