Default 2007 SALEEN - needs Daytime Running Lights to Comply!

I need to know how to wire daytime running lights into a 2007 Saleen S281 supercharged to make it compliant with Canadian rules. Any tips would be appreciated.

Define DTR in Canada.
You need the headlights to be on constantly
with the key in the run position?
The SJB controls the headlights.
Ignition run position 12V to a relay coil
and break the headlight switch TN/WH
wire with the NC relay contacts to make
the headlights come on.

visit your Ford Dealership and buy the DRL module.

Ford has an entirely OEM setup for Canadian vehicles, and it's an option here in the US. I have it installed in my Expedition.

gonna cost you about $150 though. you can do it for alot cheaper, but you won't have the same functionality with your own kit as you'll get with the Ford one. especially the part where the headlights cut on when the key is on the "Run" position and the gear selector is in "Drive" or "Reverse"...the DRL's cut off when the Gearshift is in Park

How does it differ in a manual. Will they just stay on?

Glad you got it figured out,i would have just hooked up temporary for the inspection, that's what i did on my friends gt500 he bought from the us, i took my car to the dealer and had mine daytime running lights turned off, they just turn it off or on with scan tool. they don't use a DRL anymore.
