Default Console kick panel removal

Is there a way to remove these w/o first removing the center console? Need to replace my HU fuse (or maybe even my HU )

don't feel like pulling the entire console out tonight...

not quite sure which fuse you are in reference too, but the interior fuse box is on the passenger side, at least in an 06, and you have to remove the kick panel that has the mustang lettering on it, then just open the box

I gave up on it being a quick fix. I've now removed the center console, both kicks, ac/front panel and pulled the entire head unit out. Checked all connections, fuses, etc. Don't have time tonight but will use the dvm tomorrow and see if the HU is getting power. If it is, my HU has failed...

Maybe I'll upgrade to the ida-x305. this was the first usb HU, the ida-x001 I installed 3 years ago and couldn't recall if there was a way to get the kicks off w/o the center cosole.

I don't believe there is a way to do it w/o removing the center console. Once you've done it a few times it's not too much trouble though

If I remeber when I took mine out you actually have to remove the Kicks to get the console out, so you shouldn't have to remove the console at all. But the console comes out easily any way.
