Default Replace Shaker 1000 head for a Factory Ford Navigation head?

I have an 08 GT/CS with the shaker 1000 system, and been thinking about changing out the head unit for a navigation/dvd system. I got online and looked that the back-end of the shaker compared to the OEM Ford Navigation and they look like they would match right up.

Has anyone replaced the shaker unit with a navigation unit? I would like to retain the shaker 1000 trunk unit, etc.

The top unit is the Shaker 1000, bottom is Navigation.

Your gonna spend way more money on a factory navigation unit, you should check ebay first, and if you don't find anything, check pioneer's website, they are now offering $200 savings..
