V6 or GT Driveshaft?

down the line i am going to get a GT takeoff rear axle so i can then have a 8.8 rear, and i also wanted to get an aftermarket DS, will an aftermarket V6 DS work with a GT takeoff rear? or hould i get the GT DS?

I actually have a neighbor with a V6 that installed an 8.8 rear axle w/3.73's and continued to use the V6 driveshaft, so I would have to say that an aftermarket V6 driveshaft should work just fine also...

hopefully other's will jump in and help me out here...

have you tried asking this question in the V6 section? there seems to be allot of people replacing the V6 rear with an 8.8, so I'm sure it's been done..
