well this just started happening about 2 weeks ago...
one day i noticed when turning through a parking lot that when i hit a sharp turn, my power steering starts a whine like its running out of fluid or something...
i mean its not like super loud or anything, but i can hear it while in the car with the windows down when making sharp turns....
i checked the fluid level and its looks like its where it normally is...
suggestions?

Huh. My car has always done when I have the wheel turned all the way. I Figured it was normal.

ya the sound isnt there all the time, it only comes when i do sharp turns...because of this i figured is wasnt the belt because then it would be present all the time...
any other tell tale signs if the pump is going bad?

What you're referring to is normal. If onf1r is describing what I think he is, it is the power steering pump. It should be a little harder to steer, because the pump is not helping you as much.
