sound is one thing, the x-pipe is higher pitched and the h pipe resonates a little differently. as for performance, the x pipe is theory should be better, but notacble improments would be negleble.
I bought a H pipe from Brenspeed earlier tonight. X pipe probably flows better, but I like the sound of the H pipe better. Brenspeed.com also has sound files of different set ups too.

I am wanting a good clear sound clip of an O/R H-pipe with stock mufflers. The one on Brenspeed is distorted and not to clear. Any better ones out there?
Does anyone have just the Pypes O/R H-pipe and left the stock mufflers? How did it sound inside and outside compared to the stock? Is it meaner sounding or just loud? Any popping like glass pipes?
