"The 1967 Mustang received a jazzy new body, a wider track for better road grip, a more diverse range of engines and a longer options list. Must-haves for the big budget crowd now included a Tilt-Away steering wheel; a built-in heater/air conditioner; an overhead console; a Stereo-Sonic tape system; a SelectShift automatic transmission that also worked manually; a bench seat; an AM/FM radio; Fingertip speed contril; custom exterior trim group; and front power disc brakes...." -67mustangfastback.com
Don't we all have this image in our heads of a certain fantasy mustang? perhaps a black 67 fastback tearing down the streets?
The real question is can everyone who wants a mustang from the 60's
1. actually afford the cost of maintaining and buying the car
2. have a garage?
3. actually find the car (obviously the fastback is out of production)
but now there is a solution.... that with your vote.... can actually come to the market!!!!
i know its no replacement for a classic mustang
but for those of us who would like to have their new mustang look something like this http://www.fordpower.net/gallery/sho....php?photo=387
IMPORTANT----this product will be a body kit an add-on to existing vehicles..the cost of which and materials is still under discussion----
*i want you to know that this poll should be taken seriously because i just got off the phone with Kim from
Classic designs and she will be taking a look at the response from the community
please vote yes!

hopefully switching to 93 soon...
One of the best looking of all Mustangs in my opinion. I think with the right mods you can make the 2005+ look "almost" like that though. It would probably cost too much for Ford to do that any time soon since it is such a structural departure. It would definitely cost GOOD money.
