Found another Water Leak Area! And a fix! Lots of pics..
So this was the final piece of the puzzle for me, my car has finally been dry for solid 6 months now. There is a badly sealed area on the left side of the cabin air filter that leads to the same area cowl grommets do, which exits right above the SJB. To prove it I used a wire and stuck it through the badly sealed area and fished it out above SJB.
Here are the pictures.....
This shot shows the general area I am working with
I went ahead and ripped all this crap out that was supposed to seal (The above shot is after I ripped it out too)
A cleaned up section, note the area I circled, thats where the water is seeping in.
This is the wire that I am going to insert into the area and fish out on the interior, In later pictures You will see I added some white tape on the ends of the wire to see it better.

Ok now I have inserted the wire, 3 pictures to show the insertion point:
Now lets go look at the interior:
As you can see that wire comes out right over SJB:
My hand holding the wire, right over SJB (yeah I'm being repetitive haha)
In this shot I pulled back the insulation to expose the hole that the wire is coming through, right above SJB, this is where the water is coming in on the inside
Another shot of the wire and hole that is right above SJ.....well you get the point.......
And the fix:
And on the top for good measure...
Yeah the fix is not pretty, but no one will ever see it, and it looks alot better than a corroded SJB.
Well guys and gals, I hope this helps someone. And happy 23rd to me as of 30 min ago.

Interesting but I am not surprised. But have you actually found water leaking up into that crack? I would think that the cowl and it being so far in that corner it would be too small for water to get under the cowl and seep through the hole.

Yeah I did, that foam was soaked after rain, Actually the seal on top of the cowl area was letting water into that area as well, so I sealed it like 4 times for good measure.
But yeah I was skeptical at first too, like I thought there is no way the water is getting into such an awkward area, but then again that damn water will get in places that will surprise you, I was right this time.

Lol np actually I think I failed to mention it, now just to clarify, are you talking about interior or exterior?
