Default Finally got her back in the Stable!! pics

A few pics of The Ghost with her nice new painted stripes. Overcast and rainy but I think the pictures still do justice. Check out the shine!! No wax on the car at all and no sunshine either, that is just the Glassurit Clear-Coat. And someone asked for a comparison between Vinyl and Paint, the last picture titled "hood pins" was taken with the vinyl at it's best.

Looks great! Did you do the hood pins? If so how did you do it and how hard was it?

Yes, I did them. I did it with a big drill. Was actually pretty easy once I built up the courage to drill holes in the hood. Took about 1.5hrs but I spent an easy 45min. measuring.

Yes, good job. It looks much better than if you'd gone black! Much more subtle!
About the hood pins. To me they look like they are located more to the center of the hood than others. Or maybe it's just my idea of where they should go.
Is there a standard location for hood pins? I'd think they should be closer to the edges and sides. Why not?

There is SOME room for movement in and out. But no room to move them closer to the front of the hood. The only place strong enough to mount them is the radiator support. But there are features in the way that prevents much movement. I personally used the holes that are farthest out in the radiator cover. The holes were allready there, I just tapped them out. But I could have gone about two inches further out. I couldn'd justify that much difference in looks to drill more holes.

Yes, the entire rear spoiler is wrapped. But if you look closely at the tag area it is kind of an illusion. He painted the outside edges and blended it in, but there is nothing in the box itself. He suggested this and I thought it was a neet touch. Thanks for the compliments everyone.
