Today somebody spit on my car
I guess I should be thankful they didn't key it but it was laced with tobacco juice and tobacco on the rear quarter panal and rim. This
kind of hurts my feelings but I'm a police officer( I was at court) and they know the car so they let me know what they thought of me. Has anyone else
had this happen? By the way its my privately owned vehicle.

Yikes, I'd never take my PV to court, that's for sure. But if I did, I sure wouldn't expect it to be spat upon. Just search your cop memory for the joker that was dipping in court (I'm sure the judge loved that by the way) and make sure he gets your absolute attention next time he drives by in his jalopy!

Wow, that really sucks.
My moms has a 1998 WS6 Trans Am and it has gotten keyed twice.
Both times at Shoprite when she was shopping.
I'm always asking her why she keeps taking it there!!!

My mustang hasn't had anything happen, but my 67 Cougar got spit on a few times.
My mother-in-law once parked at a shopping mall beside a bunch of teens in an SUV all chewing, she was going to repark, but it took her 5 minutes to find that space as it was. When she got back her car was COVERED in tobacco, like they had a spitting contest on it. It wasn't even a special car or anything, 2001 Camry.
Goes to show it's not just jealousy, it's jerks who don't respect anyone or anything.

I've been thinking about this all the way home from work...this really bothers me.
What kind of low-life spits on another man's car? Look, I know you said you're a cop and folks might not like you for reasons related to that, but this is no excuse. I don't expect everyone to like me, and I know a few folks that I'm not too fond of (my eldest daughter's boyfried tops the list [:@]), but that's no reason to disrespect another's property.
I can only imagine the degenerate who did this...come to think of it, my daughter's boyfriend is the kind of guy who might. Where did you say this happened? Might have been him. Hmmmm, I should kick his a$$ for you...just in case.
Well, sorry to hear this happened. I often have a slight worry in the back of my mind when I leave my car parked out in public that something like this will happen.
Best,
-j
