Sometimes you just want to smack 'em!
So I spend 4-5 hours yesterday completely detailing both cars.
The mustang got a wash and (another) fresh coat of wax. Vacuumed the interiors, Armor-alled the plastics and vinyl and treated the leather as well.
Same thing on the wife's car...the 'X' as we refer to him (him because it's my wife's car...of course the GT is a she). Complete interior, wash and wax and everything on both cars.
As you can tell they're both shining pretty good. I even did the wheel wells and tire sidewalls of HER car but didn't do on the GT because by that time I was just SICK of detailing cars.
(all this happend AFTER I spent about 2hrs busting knuckles and fighting with the damn rubber dust boot on the new Pro 5.0 shifter install)
She comes outside (WITHOUT a refreshing glass of water for my troubles of course), looks at her car and the very FIRST thing she says to me is:
"you forgot to do the interior of the rear window, because there's a 2" smudge on the lower left corner....see right here"
I looked at her with the most contemptuous look I could possibly muster....she seemed to realize her mistake after I told her next time she can do both cars completely and they better look at least 1/2 as nice....
My first reaction was to just bitch-slap her. (i wouldn't really but the image in my head made me feel better)
Are ya'll feelin me here or what?

i feel ya. now i only wash mine. if im going to get bitched at she can drive a dirty car.
when people get hooked up and or married there should be a prenup[sm=proof.gif] no more than 1 hour of bitching a week, and no bitching at all when you are doing something for them, and if they break the rules[sm=chairshot.gif] 1 time per violation.

i recently washed/waxed/detailed mine for 3.5 hours and put it back in the garage. come home later and find out that my sister had come home, drove it on our property (through mud puddles). now im going to have to slash her tires, and hide my keys.

someone is going to get b1tch slapped in here for complaining about his work. I know it's a pain to wax/detail your cars, I try to do mine by myself so that not even my brothers or my father can say something until I'm done. Detailing my car is not something I really like doing when someone's watching and being critical.
