Wow! Leave it to Saleen to hit the mark on design again... Sounds like it's close to an Extreme car without the blower, that's probably why it's so expensive. Custom built motor with forged internals... Slap a blower on that thing and get 550+ HP, but I'm sure people will leave them intact and stored away for no one to see.

I say take off the Parnelli Jones stuff.........along with the gigantic numbers, and then offer it to the public in the $30K-40K price range. But that's just wishful thinking, I know..........cuz Saleen takes it's products and jacks up the value by about 30%. I mean, they wanted to charge me 600 freakin bucks to replace the heat exchanger for my Saleen s/c for cryin out loud. Saleen products are top notch, but they are nuts with their pricing. I honestly expect to see a rare form car like this pricing about 70K from them........at least. Forget all that 50K talk......you can't even get the 281SC for that right now.[:'(]

Very nice looking.. I don't like the #15 on the car.. JMO on that.. I know it is a car that we will never see on the road .. but why buy something if you are never going to drive it..???
I know why they put the#15 on there .. but again if I was to buy that car I still wouldn't want a number on my car.. esp. if other people had the same car.. if by chance you where to see two on the road at the same time.. both would have the same number..
but still a nice looking car... 50K is kind of pricey also .. you know they are going to sell for more than that.. " market value" they ( dealerships ) just love to add that on...
they could also get more HP with the use of a VTEC ( flame away about a ricer car ) but it does work and it doesn't cost that much and you get the best of both worlds..
