I just bought my dream car so of course my husband and I decided we want to have kids now (not exactly a good "mommy mobile")
Does anyone here have small children? I am wondering how a baby seat will fit/work in the small backseat I have (b/c I am NOT getting rid of my stang!). Just curious as to how much of a pain it will be.
thanks!

Works fine, I have twins and was able to find seats to match the interior. At any meets I go to the matching seats get as many comments as the car.

Anyone know of a good quality toddler seat that will fit well in the back seat? Both the models we have that fit well in our Grand Cherokee and my old Taurus do not sit very well in the Mustang. I've been Googling like crazy and haven't found a good solution yet.

I hear a lot of talk about infants, but none about small children -- ages 5 & 7...how do they fare in the back? Also, I've seen pics of the passenger side rear car seat employment, what about the driver's side? Any issues there? I'm short -- 5'7"; Most folks seem to be in the 6' to 6'3" range. Would I have issues with a child behind the driver's seat? Do their feet fit well? What about long trips? Good idea? bad idea?

I have a large 3.5 year old and have a "booster" behind the passenger seat in the back. He fits perfect back there and has a good amount of room. Unfortuneately his sight is very limited to what he can see out of the car. I'm sure this will change as he grows taller.. I usually keep the passenger seat just a tad more upright so his feet do not do anything to the back of it.
But I rarely get him in the mustang, Just an occasional hop to daycare or such (2-3 miles).
