yup, and i even bought the best tint the guys had, they had some from 3 different companies, this tint was suppose to be scratch resistant to (if i remember what he said correctly)

but to answer your question, yes its still an issue at the moment.

Have you checked to see if your inner weather strip that touches your tint actually has OEM felt on it? If not, it's a simple fix with the anti scratch kit.

If it does have OEM felt already on it, then would Tint Protectors felt OVER the OEM work? What about removing the OEM and installing the Tint Protector felt?

Im pretty sure this was fixed on the 10's+. Didnt Ford use a better interior seal that would not scratch? I have had mine tinted for 5+ months with no issues.

So is there still a problem with the 2010+ ?
I kno ford uses a new felt lined weather strip but does it stop the tint from scratching?

I'm getting my 2011 tinted this Sat, do I need moleskin?

My '10 doesn't scratch at all either.

I had the moleskin for a while but was frustrated by the adhesive smearing on the tint that was hard to clean. A few months ago I bought '08 interior door trim belts that have a felt strip and they work great. Ford part #8R3Z-6321456-A (Pass. side) and #8R3Z-6321457-A (Drivers side).
