I had the same issue, CD got stuck while trying to eject. Turns out i could barely see the disc and got a pair of needle nose into the slot and pulled it out-without damaging the POS shaker at all. Soon I'm getting it replaced with a unit that's as ROCKIN' as the ride! I think Ford really could've had some higher standards and selected a better stock stereo system for such a quality ride as the Mustang! Could've at least had an Mp3 jack plug instead of just the 12V plug! The shaker systems leave ALOT to be desired. RIIIIIIIP it out and get a custom install

I never gave mine a chance to jam up. Replaced it soon after with a pioneer touch screen.
Still got it sitting on a shelf

Mine jammed up too. I pulled the head unit, then removed the ribbon connector that goes between the CD circuit board and the radio circuit board. Put the head unit back in and everything else works fine. Rarely used the CD anyway. My ragtop is a summer ride, so couldn't justify dropping 6 or 7 hundred dollars for CD/DVD I rarely used.....
