My GT/CS has been keeping me very busy in the last 2 weeks since I bought it. Gets LOTS of looks and comments everywhere I go. As much as any classic car I've owned.

Did the C&L street CAI, Breenspeed tune, Pypes axle back and yesterday installed Tokico Spec-d's, Steeda Sport Springs, Steeda lower control arms. BMR panhard bar and pypes H pipe are on their way! It's Getting there......

Okay, so I'm pretty sure they aren't making GT/CS's in green, seeing as they don't make green anymore. So I was thinking about ordering the bumpers and side skirts (it has different side skirts, right?) from my dealership, and having them paint it to mach my car (any comments on this idea are more than welcome). BUT, I haven't found any pictures of the CS from the back. Can anyone post a pic of the rear bumper?

I do like the GT/CS front and rear bumpers. I'm actually considering the rear bumper in the future.......the stock GT rearend seems to flimsy. And I've already got a little warpage in the middle of it.

I agree I have had nothing but compliments as well. The hoos scoop is a little disappointing but does add some appeal especially for those people that think it is actually fucntional. Until you open the hood (unless you are a true muscle car freak) most are fooled. Anyway I also like the two one as well.

Not sure why it wont take the image but you can copy ans paste into new window and it should let you see.
Anyone know why it might not paste the image? Have had not problems pasting same images before.

If that hood scoop does not go any where, ditch it.

I dont think this picture really does it justice. I didnt think much of it when I first saw the pic but after I saw one in person I loved it, especially the interior. The black/dove combo is just beautiful. I ordered myself a vista blue GT/CS, its scheduled for delivery first week of November.

I have the California Special too and have to say I really love it. I love the regular GTs too and am crazy about this retro version in general, but when I got a chance at a GT/CS Vista Blue 5 speed, with a cloth vert roof, there was no way I could walk away without buying it! I've been loving every minute of ownership. It's my first sports car and my whole family has owned them and I've always been the practical one....well, those days are gone and I haven't looked back! BTW, I like the way the Ford hood scoop looks and I'm thinking about adding it.

More then a few 60's muscle cars had fake hood scoops on them. It's just part of the culture for over 40 years. I don't see the big deal. Half of this forum is sticking 'em on the hood, the other half hates 'em.

The '64-'67 GTO's come to mind. I chose to convert my '67 goat to a functional ram air car for about $200 with factory repro parts. I'll do something for my '07 GT/CS and pipe some ductwork to the CAI.
