Anyone who had problems with their Flows please read.
After I bought the Flowmaster Series 40 a/b mufflers a couple months ago, I read about the problems some of the earlier models had. Then I read where the newer ones were fine so I figured I'd be okay.
Well, a couple weeks ago I started her up in the a.m. and heard a metallic rattle. I went to the back and the passenger side muffler sounded like a beer can with the pull tab dropped in it. After a couple minutes the sound went away. Now I'm noticing that every time I start her up real cold I hear the rattle, but then it quickly goes away. I went to lunch with a friend and he confirmed the rattle when I first started her up so it's not just my imagination.
When I spoke to brenspeed.com they said the mufflers would have to go back to Flowmaster and confirmed as defective before I could be credited, meaning I either need to put the stock mufflers back on, or buy a new set while the Flows get checked out.
My question is, did any of you guys (or gals) who also had problems notice that the rattle went away when the mufflers warmed up, or was it continuous?
I'd hate to go through the hassle of returning them, then have Flowmaster say they are fine. Plus if I buy a new set, then I'm stuck with having to get rid of the Flows myself.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Cousin has them with a Bassani catted xpipe, never noticed a rattle like this, but his are very raspy at times, almost like a bolt is loose, and the muffle itself is sort of rattling.
