I see in the TSB where they replace all the old nuts with new ones. I reused the old ones when I replaced my upper strut mounts and installed the Konis. Could be part of my problem, although the lock washers seem to have cured it so far. I do know that the factory nuts are not nylock nuts or I'd have got new ones.

Well I paid 250 bucks (ford Motor Company covered the rest of the $450), and the noise is still there. I'm pretty annoyed.

BVCobra84, I have the noise too. Obviously the dealer that did your work doesn't know what is causing the noise. I am just living with mine. It bothers me that the noise is there but not enough that I feel I need to get it fixed. But, if I did anything it would be to replace the shocks/struts on the car also in search of a smoother ride.

I have the FRPP suspension in the car, which is why I am so mad that it sounds like this.

Is the FRPP shocks/struts what was newly installed? Is this what the dealer recommended? Does the car ride better/smoother with those?

No I have had the suspension on the car for over a year. The problem started about a month ago. Dealer tells me that nothing will fix it completely, and it is the "nature of the vehicle"...but if it wasn't there before then obviously it can be fixed somehow. I like the way the car rides, the noise just sounds like a bunch of 2x4's hitting each other, and it goes right through me.
