So installed, left quiet, right not, so now I'm gonna try AD-1078 from 2011, this is for 100% number for new shorter struts, so I have to add spacer.

Default 2007 GT front end noise

I installed J&M adjs caster plates and now the twice is 200% louder. I'm going to put back the new GT 500 Strut Mounts and change the sway bar bushings and hope for the best.

So finally I tested them with spacers, under has to be 20mm long, 15mm inside, upper has to be 15mm.

Sound this same, so I have to search what else can make this sound, but all is tight. What I seen in cars comming to me, that this that had installed tower brace were quiet, so finally I'll try this too.
But it makes so quiet noise, that probable I'll live with if it will not help.

My two cents - may not be the same as others but....

I had one sway bar endlink loose (driver side front) and it clunked! I could not tell if it was front or rear or which side. They felt tight when I did my last check before putting the wheels on, but sure enough it loosened up and even with Locktight blue on it. Buddy of mine swore it was the exhaust bumping something after the lowering springs. NOPE!

I took the endlinks off to replace the struts and springs, so that is why the clunk started. I had to get an open end 18mm socket and 8mm socket like others have suggested here and boom - no more clunk! Poor design for the front sway bar endlinks and recommend replacement to the newer versions in my opinon.

Anyways, my experience and a good solution for replacing the endlinks here;
My Strut/Spring Install

Front Sway bar endlinks

Good luck to all in defeating the CLUNK!

i have probably read about 20 posts and I thought i would add unhooking the sway bar. If you do this and drive it around you can see if it has anything to do with the clunk. hope this can help someone. I also have the clunk. fixed it on the drivers side by cranking down on the top strut nut.

Well, for 2007 owners we are out of warranty, I don't think Ford will replace our struts with no warranty, Should of know this before....

Thanks for the post!

Most recalls will be covered even if out of warranty since it is a recall. Eibach must have made the Roush struts because I got my Roush struts replaced for the same recall. My strut actually did break.
