So I'm driving along and I'm jamming out to some tunes and then I notice my steering gets really stiff to the point where I had to force it to go around the run. So I'm thinking I got a flat tire or something, but I happen to look down at the guages and I see the battery light and the airbag light, so I turn off my radio and the car isn't even running. WTF!?! So I had to stop completely in the road, put it in park and start it up again, and it ran fine after that. Any ideas what the hell went wrong with it? Its an automatic if you were wondering. I swear if I have JUST ONE more problem with this car I'm gonna burn it to the ground. I have a CAI and a tune but haven't had any problems with it since I've had it on.
Funny, Im a former subaru Sti owner and it broke down on me all the time........My 05 mustang GT has been perfect for 25,000 miles...............All car companys build lemons!
OK, here's the wildest and craziest suggestion of the day. Do solar flares/solar events have much or any effect on the electrical systems of cars? I know we've been in the midst of some very major solar activity the past few days and it does disrupt satellite and radio transmissions... Okay, okay, I'm really half joking about this as I'm pretty sure that it would take an EMP from a nuclear blast to throw off the electronics. But truthfully, I've never looked into car ignition electronics and solar activity. In any case, good luck and I hope it was a one-time fluke.
