I am a proud new owner of a 2007 Grabber Orange Mustang V6. I am planning on hooking it up to look like the 1970 Boss Mustang. I was wondering if the 1/4 window louvers by roush, street scene, or any other stick on applications have problems with retaining water after washing or a good rain. Also, I want to know how to clean the window after installation, or do you just have to deal with sirt being in there. Someone who has these let me know if it is a mistake to install them. I don't want to deal with the headache if it's too much hassle. Thanks.

I put RainX on the windows before install of my louvers, helps keep the windowsclean. When washing I try andhose it down pretty good.

How much water lays between the window and the louver after spraying it out? Is there a hole in the botom side of the mounting tape for drainage or does it just lay in there and soak the mounting tape?

I would also like to know any inside information that you louve owners have. Anything you wish you knew before your purchase?

Uh..... 1970 BOSS Mustangs didn't have quarter windows so that is going to be a hard look to duplicate.

Blow off the external louvers and get the window replacementreplacement pieces from Silver Horse Racing. They frikin' rock.

Has anyone had problems with the louvers causing wind noise or whistling at certain speeds?
