I was doing about 110 on the highway today and when my eyes diverted for half a second,I noticed the hood shaking like crazy!!

Scared me so much that I slowed down! Anyone else notice this? I have the GT appearance package with the scoop.

What are the chances the hood would ACTUALLY open at such speeds? Itraelly scared me! Hood locks can be so unsightly though...

my car hood shakes too is good though, so I don't go over 100mph

All u have to do it take a 2" hole saw and drill about 6 or 7 holes in the hood about 3/4 the way back. Problem solved.

yeh, but there's so much old stuff on here, if nobody asked these questions we might as well not even log on...it get perty boring if there were no new questions or suggestions...

btw, my hood did pop open at 105 mph...no hood shake prior so I suggest when you close your hood you let it drop shut...I had set it down on latch and closed gently...ran it to 110 yesterday and no problems/no hood shake. Try adjusting the stops up a little to see if it will help.
