Yesterday afternoon I took my occasional trip to my local Ford dealer to check out the new Stangs.

I'm pretty pathetic/obsessed huh? [sm=lol.gif]

Anyways, in the showroom they had the first Mustang GT/CS I've seen in person! Boy is that a nice upgrade! Of course, it was white with black side stripes. This one was a coupe rather than a convertible like they show on fordvehicles.com! The front and rear fascias look awesome and the hood scoop and side scoops are perfect! Not to mention the sexy ebony and medium parchment leather seats and manual trani. This car was flawless and it's going on my wishlist to be my 2nd Pony. By the way, did I mention MSRP was $31K for it?

I was wondering what everyone's else's thoughts were on this car. Does anyone here have one yet? Please share! Thanks

I'm surprised that no other U.S. states are complaining that they don't have their own special Mustang.
How about a New York special, Florida special, or Texas Special?

I have yet to see one outside of Florida that comes with a Sun roof... I know they have them I just haven't seen one except once when I was in Florida....

I have a black GT/CS. I like the fact that the stripe is camouflaged. See attached photo.

For me the justification in getting the CS was simple: It comes with a package of upgrades that I would have had to get piecemeal, and possibly at greater expense. These include the interior upgrade, the Shaker 500andthe 18" wheels (a must). I'm not crazy about the ornamental hood scoop and would probably have deleted it in retropsect. This is my first Mustang so I was unprepared for all the modding needed to make it drive like a real sports car but the stock auto is inexpensive enough and the community big and helpfulenough that I've actually enjoyed tweaking my CS.

acctually, back in the day there was a mustang called A. Twister Special (oklahoma/texas) and the blue bonette or something like that for texas (painted a special blue). Ive seen a blue bonnette special and my dad almost bought a twister special. im getting my 07gt in may (hopefully) and the GT/CS isnt out of the picture! great lookin ride, with some nice little touches.
