It took roughly 3 hours to put in. As you can see it is attached to the fire wall in the back and that was the hard part. I needed to remove the windshield wipers and then the plasice covers. Then i needed to intall and mark the places i needed to drill holes. I did the holes on the first try, all four. Thank god. Behind the fire wall is a extra steal piece that re-enforces the fire wall. once all that was put in i tightened the bolts and there it is.
I took her for a drive and holy crap what a difference. I did not think i would feel it that much. Her turns are tighter and almost no body roll in the front and my wheel hop is gone. That was a surprise. I know the car is dirty but it is 5 below zero outside and im going to wash her tommorrow. I will say though. this is not for the faint hearted. The space is tight but dang it works great. Hope you guys like and if you have any questions please ask away.

Does anybody know how this compares to the BMR or FRPP pieces? I want/need to tighten things up a bit on my vert and am thinking about the BMR or FRPP piece since installation seems easy. Taking apart the firewall area and drilling holes is outside of what I am willing to do, though. If the BMR or FRPP pieces don;t help tighten things up, though, I might have to consider plan B.

I have the GT500 strut bar with two fender washers on the rear bolts....
Trust me...strut bars work. The strut bar and the subframe braceon my WRX is why it wasn't totalled and the BMW that hit me was nearly totalled.

Hey billyjo, are you talking about the wheel hop when you are cornering, and there's a bit of a bump in the road and it feels like the back end is leaving the ground? If it's that kind of wheel hop that a strut bar fixes, that's my next mod...
