I'm supposed to get my car in a week or so. Can I just go outside with a hose and drench it for a half hour and then look to see if it leaked?

If the person making that entry in my poll was referring to his build date and not his purchase date, it doesn't look good for your data. We have all read of water coming in at different places. Maybe our post 09/07 leak victim had one of the grommet ring issues and not a seam issue. Hopefully that poll person will respond.
I'm the guy who put the post Sept leaker in there. My '07 was built the week of Oct 9. The door sticker says 10/07.....The only way I knowthe car was built the week of the ninth is because I was calling that Ford Dealer number and getting updates on my build.
I posted in the other large thread about this some time ago. First time I noticed the leak, there was a swimming poolon the passenger side floorboard. The second time there was only minor dampness. Two trips (and about 10 days out of service) to the dealer yielded no results. The odd thing is that I have driven in heavy rain with no noticable leaks and we just had amonsoon here yesterday and no leaks. I was parked just like always during the monsoon yesterday (on a very very slight incline). The leak appears to be intermittent in both frequency and severity.
As an aside; In the factory service manual, under the section on replacing theelectrical box(I thinked it iscalled the Smart Junction Box or SJB - I don't have time to look right now) inside the passenger side kick panel, Ford refers to the foam sheet over the SJB as a "watershield" and cautions not to remove it when installing the new box!

You cant hose the car down you have to drive through some rain and occasional puddles for it to get up in there.

Have an 07 Roush Stage 2 built 06/06. Took the hose out & bathed the cowl and windshield area with the car in the driveway forward facing uphill then forward facing downhill, so far no leaks. Did I test it right or am I missing something.

Do you all realize that for MY2005 and MY2006 almost 20% of the poll takers had the passenger side leak. We are looking at only 3% of MY2007 poll takers with the leak. Something must have been done for MY2007 to prevent the leak from the data we have here.[/align]

I have a 2007 built after 9/2006 and I either don't have the leak or I don't know I have it.

I just hit the 10,000 mile mark yesterday and I still do not have :
The Leak
The Rattles
The Dead Battery issues
The Skipper issues
Maybe I just got a freak of a good car, but I love every mile on her.
