Default Saleen supercharger potential

WHat potential does the Saleen superchager have. I know out of the box with saleens tune its around 400hp. How upgradable is this supercharger? Can you get it near 600hp (obviously having to upgrade other parts of the car also ie tranny and bottom end.)

The s/c itself is capable of 400+ hp, but our stock block will not handle more then 8-9 lbs of boost safely, which will keep your car in the 380 hp range without doing some serious engine work.

There is some good power possibilities with the Saleen s/c. I don't know if you are referring to engine hp or rear wheel.....600hp. If you look at the "E" car making 550hp at the crank, you know there is more power to be found. pulley it down , aggressive tune and you are on your way. NOTE: please call us for a forged short block before attempting big power! Windowing an aluminum block may save some weight, but doesn't seem run run very well

You're gonna here a lot of different numbers from what I've read over the last few months. But you can be sure you will need to change a few other items to get the proper potential out of the s/c with the stock block. Everyonesuggest new longtube headers, new axlebacks and a CAI. If your adding all the flow into the engine you will need good exaust or you will just be choking the system and most of them wound up with around 450RWHP. Any more that that and is sounds as if you will need new internals. The max if seen with saleen is 585rwhp. Don't go and bash me for posting this, It's just what I've seen. The people who were getting over 600hp seem to be using Turbo's because they are able to modify and change the parts out for more POWER .. hehehehe .. anyways just my two cents from a rookie..

Wrong!! I just purchased a Saleen supercharger at the cruise on Saturday. The basic supercharger kit is 435hp, but i opted for the 475 hp kit, which has a smaller pulley, bigger injectors, second cooler behind bumper, plus a couple of other items. This kit is designed for stock engines with no internal mods of any kind needed, and is backed by the Saleen warranty, and also the factory warranty.

Ok, if that s/c kit gives you 435 rwhp, ill give you my car...deal? Lol dont believe everything you read in magazines and on the box. Stock supercharged saleen puts down between 370-390 hp, sorry to burst your bubble buddy.

370-390 rwhp is 435chp .... if you only got 370chp from a sc on a gt then you should kill the manufacturer
