We have a new warranty

We have a new warranty
Well I just opened my mail and found a letter from Ford announcing 2 new upgrades for our 07 Ford or Mercury. Says these improvements are automatic, and require no action by us at all in order to take effect.
The powertrain warranty is now 5 years and 60.000 miles !!!! And no deductable. Saftey restraint coverage is extended from 5 years 50.000 miles to 5 years 60.000 miles.
Roadside assistance is extended from 3 years 36.000 miles like everything else to 5 years and 60.000 miles! Also a new warranty guide came with it to replace the old one. From scanning through it it reads pretty much the same, but I have not looked it over carefully. In any case, this is good news, and free.
I love it.. I have posted this in a couple other forums too to let folks know. A good step in the right direction any way.

RE: We have a new warranty
When I bought my 07 last December the dealer gave me a Ford form letter that explained the new warranty. And of course the salesman mentioned the 5/60 drivetrain warrantya few times.

That new warranty sounds good. But, yeah modding is always a must. When I get my gt im not concerned about the warranty. **** the dealers are hard to work with when something does go wrong. They complain. I mean warrantys are always good but they can be a hassle at the same time.
