Default Shaker 500 System wiring question

Ok,
I am getting a great deal on a new stang, but I don't get to pick the options. The car was ordered and sent to the us port here in Germany. The guys finacing fell through, the car was there and the New Car Sales for the military reduced its price. It has the Shaker 500 audio system. I would like to add some subs to it, including an amp. Does anyone know if this car will be prewired for an amp and subs. I have no clue if Ford is still doing that. I know they used to. I know the Shaker 1000 has the 2 10" subs and 500 watt amp. That is the reason I am sking if the wiring may already be installed. BTW, Its a 2007 Califorbia Special Edition ( If that makes a diff??) Thanks on the answers in advance.

Frank

For the $1300 they charge for the Shaker 1000 you can gut whatever radio is in the car and install a much better system. Just installing a new head unit and using the existing speaker / sub combo can sound okay for most people.

But for the short term you can probably live with the 500, it really isn't that bad for a factory radio.

Ill also agree pulling the stock HU and putting a high end HU with a proper eq setup will make it sound 5x better. You can also change the 5x7s in the doors and rear and make it sound even better.

Once I put my AVIC Z1 in the stereo came alive. I spoiled myself with awesome audio equiptment in my Expedition before my GT, so it doesn't compare. But I'd rather spend my money to get a little more go out of this car.

Go out buy a nice head unit.Make sure you have a couple extra pre-outs so you canhook up an amplifier or two if you want later on.

Thanks on all the good answers. Was just hoping the wires were pre run so I could do a small upgrade right now while I get rims and exhaust. I did hear the shaker 500 after I posted and its not that bad.
