I just was making a coment that the only real reason people are going wow, is because its new. once they see them all over the place, the normal person (not your mustang fanatics) wont be all wowed with it anymore. It goes for all new cars. Look at the 350 z, it started off like wow and now its common to see at least 10 a day. it falls into the norm. But I love the 05 and ford did awsome.

I personally have not seen a 2005 yet. But I had a '98 and when the '99s came out I hated them. They looked to importish, but then the style grew on me, and I loved them. I now have a 2001, but depending on what the 2005 looks like when I see it in a few days I may have to place my order.

Unless you have a saleen, or a kit on it that looks good, The 98 looks weak. Looks like a chearleaders car instead of a muscle car. No pun intended to all that own them because the power is there, just dont like the stock look. Also the interior between 98 and 99 is small to none.

I love the '05's, but to get the '05 I would have had to let go of my 2000 4x4 Tundra Limited and since it is almost paid for starting over on a new car note would be foolish. Besides I love my Tundra.
When everyone gets use to the new body style and the values drop I'll get the new body style.

That's why I bought it, otherwise I would have got a 99+. It took me a long time to warm up to the 99-04 style, but I like them now. I think the 05 looks pretty cool....I don't want to form my opinion yet.[&:]

THe 98 body style is my least favorite mustang. I think a crown vic has more syling than that car!
I realy like the appeance of of the 99-04 stang, but I think the interior is awful and qaulity is lacking.
Right now I'm torn on the appeance of the 05 stang. I saw one and I hated then I saw another one and I really liked it. Both were v6.
I thing we all can agree that the interior on the 05 ain't bad at all and qaulity is up.

As someone has said before, the different yoear cars brings out either the same points of views or converts. Myself Am a converted chevy lover last one I owned was in 1999 (camaro) sold it(flooded out from floyd), bought the new style cougar in 2000. Now have had too many prob's with it and have taken advantage of a second childhood by purchasing a 05 stang GT. will have it in hand in about 3 weeks. Happy holidays y'all

I think the reason why some of us don't like the new 05' models is because we don't want to admit that it looks better then ours - I like the new design but because I have 01 I'll say that my stang is better then the 05 - if I had an 05 I probably say that it's better then all the other models - overall, I think all stangs are beutiful, we're all different and that's why we have some many types of stangs to choose from, one for every type of like --- v6, gt's, cobras, saleens, mach 1, o5's, boss, rush, and on, and on!...
