hmm, alot of 05 haters. i'm just glad ford put out a stang that doesnt look like a space ship. If anyone is going to trash the 05 look it should be the old fox-body owners. I'm glad i waited 10 years to get my first stang, but if i would have bought an 04 i'd be pissed as all hell over the body change that put my car to shame. i'd also be angry when i googled the 1/4 mile times for the 05 stang GT stock vs the 04 stock.

Am on week 3 of awaiting arrival of my 05 GT, My employees are even taping pics of the car on my door with words stating" IT has Arrived" haha just kiddding. Just makes the wait that much worse. Some day it will be.

i believe that the 2005 mustang is a kick-*** car. i seen one yesterday in a parking lot near my school, and it was there today. i feel in love with the 2005 when i 1st saw one at the 2004 philadelphia auto show. my fav. model mustangs are the 1965/66/67/68,1993,2004 and the 2005 model. i think ford did an amazing job on the 05.

when i saw it up close my first reaction is that it is a big car, it heavier, taller, wider, longer, and higher off the ground. My opinion is that if u always wanted a 67 stang then its the car for you but all they did is modernize an older model which i think is kinda cheating. I always thought when u start from skratch u start w/ nothing, but in this case they were constantly looking at the very early gen. But ill admit that i turn my head when i see one @ least for now.

yea i agree, when i 1st saw it at the 2004 auto show, i thought it looked wide and heavy. but, thats what the old muscle cars where. they where big,heavy and long, but they still could haul *** and blow the doors off of any other car. like when i 1st saw the dodge magnum r/t, i thought they where an ugly car, but when i seen one in person, i feel in love with it. same as the chrysler 300c with the hemi. i like any car that looks cool, and has a big powerful engine. i think that ford should make a mach 1 model out of the 2005 model, and offer a big hood scoop on the 2005's. i herd that the mustang is going to get another 100 horsepower in fall 2005. a convertible is also on the way.

The more of the 05 I see, the more I like it. I think this is a car that really grows on you.

yea i agree ford finally put a good car out. chevy still rules however. i like the fords from back in the day (like the falcon and the early mustangs) but thats it lol.

I have a 67 GT and really like the 05 but it wont replace the old one
