Did you order your Stang?
What's up guys & gals. I'm new here and looking to get a new'07 Redfire to replace my Calypso green'92 LX. Did you have to do any different hagaling like you would getting one off the lot?

I went through the fleet manager for mine. I went through redbook autos to get invoice fleet discountpricing. The problem was, no fleet manager would honor it at the time. Every dealer around me was marking up the GT at least $4k (one wanted 8k over sticker!!). They could have done it for a V6, but not a GT. I ended up paying sticker, which was the best anyone could do. But going through the fleet manager was nice cause no haggling or pressure or anything. Totally beat dealing with a slimy salesman trying to pressure you into buying one off the lot.

I ordered mine originally, then the order was cancelled by Ford. So my dealership searched for what I wanted and pulled off a dealer trade.
I used the X-Plan, no hassle and slightly below invoice.

You asked about ordering an 07. It might be too late for an 07. About now is 08 time. When I ordered my 07 in the beginning of last April you couldn't order a 06. And it might be too late for a GT too. Nice GT Redfire in Ct. at a dealer if your interested.
